Continue & Expand Transfer Events

  • Welcome Week Transfer Day – September 7th, 2016, Raider Grill
  • Transfer Fair – October 19th, 2016, 12:30 – 4:30, 3rd Floor SCC
  • 3.2.1. Transfer – January 18th, 2016, 11:00 – 2:00, 3rd Floor SCC
  • Transfer Planning Workshops – offered weekly in AATC
  • Advising Days – collaborations with departments
  • CLS 100 Classroom Presentations – multiple sections per semester

Goals of CAP 3.2.1. Continued

  • Collect feedback on transfer events from students and our four year partner

institutions to assess

  • Evaluate and enhance/expand our transfer resources including: transfer website

and addition of short videos to direct students, faculty and staff to transfer resources

  • Change from Counseling & Career Center to Academic Advising & Transfer Center
  • Continue collaborations with four year partners through: liaisons, task forces,

conference presentations, joint workshops, open house participation, transfer guides

  • Welcome Week Transfer Day: 9 academic departments, 18

transfer schools, 500 students attended

  • Transfer Fair – 34 schools planning to attend
  • CLS 100 Presentations – 35 presentations, 875 students
  • Faculty Training – first one held 10/10/16
  • Transfer Workshops – 19 workshops offered so far
  • Still need to seek feedback from: students, faculty, four year

partners on events and trainings
