Duties and Responsibilities • Collect Senior Dues • Senior Assembly – June 1, 2018- 10:30 AM ( $100.00) • Mandatory Attire : Deadline - January 2018 Males/Females Black • Senior T- Shirt Order: and/or White business Price included in dues; attire within school dress S,M,L = $8.00 ($3.00 extra code guidelines . for XL+) . This must be paid in addition to the $100.00. Dress Code is Enforced!!!

  5. Senior Project??? ??? • In the SENIOR PROJECT, ALL graduating seniors prepare a project and present their work to a panel of interested adults during the second semester of their senior year.

  6. The 3Ps • Seniors will competently complete each of the 3 Ps: • PAPER, • PROJECT, and • PRESENTATION in their SENIOR PROJECT.

  7. Pay your debts… Debts should be paid by May 1, 2018. Students who still owe money to the school on June 1, 2018 will not be allowed to participate in the graduation practice or ceremony.

  13. Completing College Applications • I. Paper Applications - Blue or black ink only - Must be neat - Bring the Counselor Recommendation form to your counselor along with the completed application and payment to be mailed. • II. Apply Online (preferred) - Complete all necessary information - Print the Counselor Recommendation form and bring it along with payment to be mailed. • ~The same procedure is used to process scholarship applications.

  14. College Application Day - October 11 during PSAT Testing -Colleges in South Carolina only will be participating. -Seniors will have the opportunity to complete several applications in one seating. -Some colleges/universities will waive fees during this event. -If filling out applications for out-of-state schools, or schools not waiving fees, you will need a form of payment; preferably a Visa pre-paid card.

  15. Requesting a Transcript • Transcript requests for college applications and some scholarships will be processed electronically this year through Parchment. • Students will set up their account by following the School Counselor link under “School Resources” on the Keenan website.

  16. Scholarships (Free Money For You!) Awarded based on: • Grades • Academic and/or Athletic Achievement • Special Talents • Club Affiliations • Financial need may or may not be a requirement. • Many other requirements exists. • May come from the college, local community, corporations, or military.
