Tentative agreements can begin with single, or smaller groups of issues. The culmination of agreements form the larger, collective tentative agreement

Tentative language is commonly drafted by legal counsel and presented for agreement by both parties

• Provides language that accurately addresses resolution of issue
• Ensures clear guidelines for members and administrators to adhere to and

enforce

The accumulation of all agreed upon sections forms the final tentative agreement upon which the membership and Board of Education will review and vote

proposal and typically offers a proposed solution for review by other party
