Beam Week • Shielding Installed à ORC • Search and Secure – 22 hours Thur/Fri • Magnet (3 ON days) – 18 hours ON, 9 hours ramping • Field Shift workshop. DAQ shifts continue. Plan 24/7 shifts 5/30 • Beam Tuning – Coordinating time with MC-1 Hall – Commissioning M5 Line (new contactor needed) Installing today – Weekend: Circulated 3 GeV beam in DR, working on kicker timing – Today: 8 GeV beam – This Week: Establish beam to MC-1 Ring – Beam dump arrives Wednesday 2 Muon g-2 AEM B. Kiburg 22 May 2017
Ongoing Work • • Inflector Detectors – Power Supply Final Tests with – 10 w/ ORC, 6 more ready now Vendor (24 total) – Will re-tests and install this week – Entrance counter installed, ORC pending – Trackers ORC last week, approval pending final documentation – In Beam scintillation harps commissioned • Preparing final Kicker Connection – 2 Kickers installed, tested w/ magnetic field – Rebuilding 3 rd kicker connection à aim for Friday 3 Muon g-2 AEM B. Kiburg 22 May 2017
