Mary Skylar was a nurse at the Morrisville School District. She left employment at the school to serve as a nurse in WWII but never returned from war. The Morrisville Education Association is awarding this scholarship to two students who excel in the arts this year: one award for music and the other for fine arts.
The Morrisville Business Association gives this scholarship each year to a student going to college for business. Just as the Morrisville Business Association supports businesses in Morrisville, we also support our future local business leaders.

Jim Tanzillo graduated from Morrisville High School in the class of ‘59 and played football throughout his four years. He then played football at Western Carolina University where he met his wife, Trudy.
