NECKTEC SMART NECKLACE PROTOTYPES TESTS To test the necklace form-factor for comfort and usability we purchased CSR8670 chips with license (currently Qualcomm) and developed our own Necktec Bluetooth headset chip with audio module. Several working prototypes of necklaces were made. Design of buttons helps to avoid accidental pressings. Wires and earbuds storage includes three solutions: - mechanical winding of wires with earbuds storage in special dorsal pocket on the neck; - wires aligning along the necklace side cord; - NeckTec two-position pivoting earphones for constant in-ear wear (see separate slide). UPLIFTING DOUBLEFRAME SMART GLASSES Such frame allows to create lite AVR glasses (with batteries and most hardware in the necklace) and to mix near-eye displays with dioptric lenses in one frame. PIVOTING TWO-POSITION EARPHONES Fig.1 Fig.2 NeckTec pivoting earphones with rotating Z-shaped shaft are designed to be worn constantly in “comfort” position for monitoring both device commands and surrounding sounds (fig.1) or in “quality” position for phone talking and music listening with effective noise cancellation (fig.2). Such earphone construction allows to keep the earbud in the ear in either of two positions all day long without removing. Dorsal wire arrangement concept eliminates hanging annoying wires and keeps earphones almost invisible on user. Wires allow to obtain powerful sound without frequent recharging of earphones.
