Charter

  • Meet with current Marrowstone internet providers and other potential

providers to understand the barriers to the timely availability of broadband service for the entire island.

  • Determine if we would be eligible to apply for state funding to provide

internet funding to rural areas. If so, prepare an application for funding

  • Participate in other grass root Jefferson County efforts to help create

general county wide enthusiasm for providing broadband to rural county areas

  • Integrate our broadband infrastructure efforts with MICA efforts to update

the overall Marrowstone Master Plan for Development plan
