• constitute Panel of Doctors district wise for

sterilization. Doctors whose names appear on the panel should be entitled to carry out sterilization. The panel should be updated quarterly.

• Clients must be informed consequences of Sterilization.

Prior to the surgery because many pregnant women are sterilized.

All this investigation needs to be done in order to ensure the eligibility of the client for surgery.

 SQAC should visit both Public & Private facilities to

ensure implementation of national standard.

 Review and report death/complication of

sterilization.

 Give directions on the implementation of measures

for improving the quality of sterilization services in the State.

 Conduct medical audit of all death related to

sterilization and to sent report to SQAC.

 Collecting information on all hospitalization cases

related to complication on sterilization & failure of sterilization.

 Process all cases of failure, complication requiring

hospitalization and compensation.

The processing and settlement of the claim should be done by the District QAC where the client has reported.
