Area Hospital, Chirala, Prakasam District ❖ Suraksha Clinic- A separate department for counseling the HIV affected patients. ❖ Tele Radiology - Reports of diagnostic tests are made available/uploaded for use of the Doctors within 4 hours. ❖ Janani Suraksha Yojna- Central Government Scheme - Rs. 600 and Rs.1000 are given to Child and Mother respectively. ❖ Thallibidda Express- For transportation of the mother & Child to home after delivery - Driver of the ambulance to ensure vaccination of the child.

Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC)-Maddipaddu ❖ Patients- 120 daily average ❖ Coverage- 32 villages ❖ Capacity- Presently 6 beds to be increased to 10 beds. ❖ Funding-Central Government under National Health Mission. ❖ Sub Centres- 9 sub Centres & 53 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs). ❖ Training Centre-100 Students doing internship.

Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC)-Maddipaddu ❖ ASHAs- Paid for the every service e.g. Registration of pregnant mothers, vaccination and immunization of Child etc. ❖ ANMs- Provided Tablet and software ANMOL - used for tracking patients & follow up. ❖ Central Government Schemes-Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSK) ❖ State Government Schemes- Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakram -Digital birth certificate with Aadhar seeding. 98% institutional deliveres. Awareness programmes and treatment for Non Communicable Diseases.

  21. Observations ❖ Patients - Satisfied, Hospital staff- Caring. ❖ Hygienic & Atmosphere - Clean and tidy. ❖ Best Practices- Tele Radiology, E-Aushadi,TBS Helpline number for maintenance of hospital equipments. ❖ Filling up of vacancies of the Doctors, Nurses, Para Medical & Support Staff.

  22. Observations ❖ Registration of OPD patients to be made on computer at initial stage. ❖ Provision of the over head fans for OPD Patients. ❖ ACs to be provided in Doctors’ Rooms. ❖ Wheel chairs- Also to be kept at the entrance.
