Important Information

  • Tee-Times can be arranged by calling the

Lakewood Golf Shop (301-762-9074) or by emailing the Director of Golf.

  • Weekday Tee-Times are available Tuesday

through Thursday. Fridays will have limited availability and will always be before 11am.

  • Weekend Tee-Times are available, but will always

be after 11:30am.

  • All Tee-Times are based on space availability.

  • Each University Club Member is limited to play

the golf course 6 times per year.

  • You can only use the Lakewood Practice

Facility to warm-up before playing the golf course on a day you have a tee-time. At no time is the Lakewood Practice Facility available to just practice.

  • University Club Members are allowed to bring

guests when they play.

Arrival

  • As you arrive to the club, we ask that you use

the bag drop in the front of the Clubhouse.

  • You may drop-off your car with valet, or

self-park your vehicle.

  • We ask that all of our guest please refrain

from changing their shoes in the parking lot, and please use our locker room facilities.

  • After arrival, please check into the Golf

Shop.

Locker Services/Gratuities

  • A full-service locker room is available for

you to use at your convenience. If there are any inquiries about Locker Room Services, we have an attendant to try and remedy any situation that may occur. If for some reason a Locker Room Attendant is not available, please see a member of the Golf Staff.

  • Gratuities are only allowed in the Locker

Room, Valet, and Bag Room Services.

Fees

  • University Club Greens Fee

– 18-Holes - $60 – 9-Holes - $30

  • Guest Greens Fee

– 18-Holes - $100 – 9-Holes - $60

  • Cart Fees

– 18-Holes - $24 – 9-Holes - $16

  • Cart Fees are Mandatory for all University Club Members and

their Guests.

  • All fees will be billed back to your University Club account.

PACE OF PLAY

  • The acceptable time of play for Weekday or Weekend play is

4:05 or less for 18-holes and 2:00 for 9-holes.

  • Established time limit restrictions will apply for all 18 and 9-

Hole rounds. This applies to the entire foursome.

  • Groups not meeting pace of play parameters may be asked to

skip a hole.

Dress Code

Acceptable Attire

  • Men must wear shirts with

collars or mock collars that are tucked in.

  • Golf appropriate Bermuda

shorts cut no more than four inches above the knees.

  • Women’s shirts must have

sleeves or collars.

  • Coordinated warm up suits.

  • Only two rules for the Golf Course

–Carts are Restricted to the Path (Paths Only Due to Weather) –Carts are allowed Off the Paths (Carts Scatter)

  • Golf Carts are NOT allowed in the

Parking Lot.

Practice Facility

Practice Facility Rules and Hours

1. Please hit from the designated area for the day. 2. Please hit from a tight pattern when hitting off the grass. 3. Please park all golf carts in the designated area. 4. The Driving Range will always open one half hour before the golf course opens. The Driving Range will close approximately one hour before sunset. On Sundays, the range will close one and half hours before sunset. 5. All juniors must yield to members waiting to hit balls. 6. All members using the Practice Facility must be properly attired.
