  4. Club Officer Job Descriptions Club Presidents Presides over meetings ○ Prepares agenda for each meeting with secretaries ○ Establishes committees as needed ○ Monitors the status and follow through of all committee ○ work Maintains contact with Advisor and Stu Gov ○ Adam King- ASB President

  5. Vice President: Takes over presidential duties when the president is ○ absent Serves in any capacity the president assigns ○

How to Run a Club Meeting: Set meeting/activity calendar and be consistent ● ○ Meet with your club advisor before every meeting to draft an agenda Include “action items” to be completed by the next meeting ○ Take minutes at every meeting ● ○ Keep minutes in chronological order in club binder (See template) ALWAYS TAKE ROLL ● ○ Track absent members, send probation notices, and adjust club roster accordingly ● Club Recognition Recognize successes & involved members of your club Review, Followup, New ● Beginning every meeting by reviewing old business, check action items assigned, & then move on to new business. Fundraising and Finances: Everything involving money needs to go through Mrs. Fahey Fundraising Fundraising Packet must be turned in 1 month before ● This includes money, coin collecting, or donations ○ Cash Box request needed for selling during lunch ○ Club Expense Need to be approved in a club meeting ○ ○ Approval must be given to Mrs. Fahey Mrs. Fahey/ John Farris- ASB Treasurer

  15. Club Expectations: ● Keep club website updated ● Participation in at least two Vista Activities ● Monthly Progress Reports at the end of every month Lauren Maurer-ASB Clubs Commissioner

  16. Webmasters: Fill out Website Best Practices ● Club advisors will train officers on how to work website ● Same as their teacher website ○ *Turn in Website Best Practices to G107 by September 21st *

  17. Monthly Progress Reports: ● Due at the end of every month (starting September 30th) Even if your club has done nothing, turn it in! ● Turn in at the “Clubs” folder at G-107 ● ● Three strike rule If you turn in 100% of your Progress Reports, you have a chance at becoming a GOLD CLUB!

  18. Monthly Officer Meeting Officers must meet with Advisor before every meeting ● Plan agenda for the upcoming all-club meeting ● Review club calendar ● Discuss key goals of the club ●

Gold Clubs: To become a Gold Club you must: ● ○ Turn in 100% of your monthly progress reports Keep website up-to-date ○ Maintain 75% member participation in meetings and activities ○ ○ Participate in Club Rush, 3 Vista activity, Vistas Campus Outreach Perks of being a Gold Club: ● ○ Gold Clubs are the only clubs that the counselor’s office will do letters of recommendation for Get recognized on campus & the Vista’s website ○
