Government Initiatives

Government has accorded high priority to sector by launching Oil Palm Development Programme(ISOPOM) To bring 60,000 hectares of area in 8 potential states of India Government has launched Oil Palm Area Expansion (OPAE) Programme during 2011‐12 Vision of bringing 1 million hectare under palm oil in India and achieve 3‐4 million tonnes of palm oil within the next two decades.
