Conclusions

  • The uniquely severe type testing programme

– in conformity with both national and European norms – performed on full scale Curved Surface Sliders at the EUCENTRE Lab. in Italy and at the SRMD Lab. of the University of California in San Diego (USA) confirmed the reliability of this technology

  • Acceptance tests on hundreds of isolators showed a very

small production variability

  • CSS isolators are now applied not only in public buildings,

but to private residential buildings as well
