Mayors Challenge

The Mayors Challenge can serve as a catalyst for expanding the political will necessary to end homelessness in our communities. On June 4, 2014, as part of the Joining Forces initiative, First Lady Michelle Obama announced the commitment of a growing coalition of mayors, governors, and county officials to meet the goal and called on additional mayors and local leaders to commit to ending Veteran homelessness in their communities by the end of 2015.
