DRIVE is a 2 year £3m ERDF grant scheme from Norfolk County Council in partnership with Suffolk County Council, opening for business late 2020.  Eligible Norfolk and Suffolk businesses contributing to the rural economy  Business planning and project development service delivered by three Business Mentors  Project aimed at new and existing micro and small businesses who are aiming to grow.  At the end of the project and business planning process participating businesses can apply for a capital grant of between £5,000 and £30,000 at 40%

  • f eligible costs.

 Grant decisions will be made by Local Investment Boards (a bottom up model developed from Local Action Groups)

And finally…the Food Innovation Centre

  • At the Food Enterprise Park, near

Norwich, but a regional project.

  • An ambitious project from Broadland

District Council in collaboration with UEA, Hethel Innovation, the Quadram Institute and other locally based sector specialists.

  • The new Centre is due to be built in

2021, with a linked programme of innovation activity in food businesses from 2021 to 2023. What will the project do for your business?
