In FY 2018, 83 businesses were certified/recertified:
28 new businesses certified 18 businesses recertified 24 businesses recertified for the 2nd time 12 businesses recertified for the 3rd time 1 business recertified for the 4th time
The criteria for certification increases with each recertification as businesses need to show continuous improvement and remain in compliance with environmental regulations. Certification is driven by the business and can take anywhere from a month to a year. Recertification challenges include businesses closing, personnel changes, and other factors.
