Greenhouse Gas Emissions Saved Green businesses have saved 425,475,123 lbs. of CO2 with a total savings of $723,308. That’s the equivalent of planting 10,224
acres of urban trees!

Cost and Funding Green Business
FY 2015 cost of program was approximately $160,000 (higher in current FY due to $20,000 advertising from SCVWD).
FY 2015 received $82,666 from SCVWD and remaining funds came from Solid Waste Planning Fee.
SCVWD funding approved for $200,000 total over the next three years (FY17-19) – focus on South County and businesses along riparian areas.
CA Green Business Network has been seeking grant funding through Cap and Trade grants
