Jocelyn Chung: Groups and Juniors Coordinator

Jocelyn manages the Activity Action Leader (AALs) team and the Junior Coordinator (JCs) Team. She is available to assist with airport transfers, group transfers, activity planning, and all things related to groups and juniors!

Junior Coordinators

Junior Coordinators are designated staff available to serve our Junior students. Junior Coordinators are responsible for leading Juniors Orientation, chaperoning off campus trips (such as Manhattan and sports games),

  • rganizing on campus activities, accompanying

Juniors to doctors visits, conducting bed checks, and much more. JCs live on campus, and operate on a rotating schedule, which includes being “on duty” in the late evening and early morning hours. We hope that throughout their stay, our Juniors feel comfortable to reach out to our JCs for any questions, concerns, or just to hang out.

Activity Action Leaders are the primary on-site contact for group leaders. They are the chaperones for trips and activities, and can provide guidance in the face of housing, administrative, and/or academic issues. AALs greet our groups at the airport and accompany them back to campus (applicable

  • nly to groups that have booked a Group

Transfer through EF). Overseeing and taking care of the students remain the responsibility of the group leader; however, the AAL can be of assistance when

  • needed. We ask Group Leaders to be respectful
  • f our AALs’ time.

EF New York School Policies

The safety and security of our youngest students is always a high priority at EF New York. The policies and procedures reviewed here have been created with this goal in mind. We ask students to uphold these policies at all times. There are no exceptions!

the security officer at the entrance to their building prior to curfew.

  • Students who are not signed in will be

subject to bed checks, which are conducted nightly by our Residence Advisors or Junior Coordinators.

Waivers and EF Activities

We do not accept any form of parental consent for remaining off campus past curfew. Students under 18 may return past curfew only if they are attending a chaperoned EF Activity or Event. In this case, an EF staff member must escort the student back to their residence when the activity or event concludes past the curfew time.
