Have you ever heard a young person say something like…. I can't talk to Mum I can't talk to Dad I wanna tell someone.... It may be a good idea to keep this number handy for them:
Do you remember Stephen Sutton, from Burntwood in Staffordshire, who was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer at 15 and his fundraising efforts touched millions of people across the country? Stephen held the first Good Gestures Day in Birmingham in November 2013 before his condition deteriorated. Some of his friends repeated it last year. This year, young people will descend on city centres across the UK on Saturday
16th May between 11am and 3pm to hand out free hugs,
high-fives, handshakes and fist bumps to passers-by.
For more information, visit www.fixers.org.uk/home/news/good-gestures.php The event will continue Stephen’s message, spreading positivity through random acts of kindness.
