Teaching is consistently of a high quality and is very responsive to pupils’ needs. The children are well cared for and are confident and eager to join in activities. Children’s behaviour is very good and they show respect for each other.

Early Years Provision Outstanding

Both Nursery-age and Reception-age children play cooperatively, sharing resources and discussing their activities. All adults have very high expectations of what the children can achieve.

The curriculum is exceptionally well organised and planned to address children’s needs… The early years learning environment, both indoors and outside, is spacious, well resourced and supports all areas of learning effectively. There is a comprehensive induction programme in place to support both children and families when they start school. Early years staff are welcoming and encourage parents and carers to be involved in their children’s education
