Your freshman year is almost over! We met with you individually in early March to finalize your sophomore course selections. We look forward to seeing you again at school. During remote learning, we are still available to support you, it’s just that it will be virtually. Email us. The gusd.net/cvhs website can answer most questions you or your parent may have. Link to

Grades and teacher comments are posted every five weeks on Q. Check your student portal
when you have questions or concerns. Semester grades will be posted on your transcript for credit towards your diploma and are the grades used to calculate your G.P.A.
How to Calculate your G.P.A.

Students who are involved in their school and community benefit personally. Find an activity that you want to do because you enjoy
distancing means you need to be creative to find ways to give back. Community service is important - knowing you have given back to your community by helping others is a great accomplishment. Visit gusd.net/cvhs for community service information and forms.
Try your best every day and stay away from cliques and “drama” (not the class).

The deadline to change course selections for 2020-21 school year is May 22. The deadline to submit summer school request forms to your counselor for approval is May 22.
