  • City of Pompano Beach; SW 36th Avenue Sidewalk Project (from West McNab Road to West Palm Aire Drive); Project FM # 431715

15801 (LAP Funded $628,755.50):The project scope includes the installation of a sidewalk along the west side of SW 36th Avenue commencing on the south end of Canal “A” north to Palm Aire Drive, a pedestrian flashing beacon crosswalk at the intersection of SW 36th Avenue and Gateway Drive, Bus Pads, storm drainage construction, demolition, utility work, and permanent signage & striping.

  • City of West Palm Beach; Quadrille Blvd (Okeechobee to Datura); Project FM # 42526015802 (LAP Funded $750,000): The

improvements included but were not limited to clearing and grubbing, bus stop concrete pad improvements, pedestrian sidewalk improvements, pavement markings and signage, Bus shelter/Pads, site lighting, irrigation, signing and pavement markings, landscaping and other miscellaneous improvements.

  • City of West Palm Beach; Clematis Street Improvements; LAP Project FM # 42765215801 (LAP Funded $446,595): The Clematis

Street project included pedestrian and landscape enhancements such as construction of a landscaped median and installation of additional landscaping, tree grates, benches, bike racks, trash receptacles, sidewalk, milling and resurfacing, striping, signing and irrigation system from Sapodilla Avenue to Tamarind Avenue.

  • General Construction: Expedite the review of Shop drawings, check

the pad thickness and shelter type in advance, check the reinforced mat for the bus pad to verify clearances, verify buy America certifications, ensure materials used are from approved sources including the concrete mixes, & check the base prior to pad placement.

  • Ensuring ADA requirements are met: 2% slopes, wide pads for wheel

chair maneuvers, and drop off protection.

  • Maintenance of Traffic: Review MOT daily, maintain pedestrian

access, and maintaining bus service during construction.

  • PIO: Notify businesses and residents in advance using flayers/face to

face meetings, ensure proper access is maintained, respond to complaints within 24 hours to avoid issue escalation.
