• Worked with schools in and around Durban, since 2013 in

collaboration with DBE, SETAs, Agencies including NGO/NPO.

• Collaboration with EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) for

school seminars and workshops for both teachers and

• learners. Over 10 000 learners have been briefed by the

MSoE in Careers at Sea over the past four years; in the form

• f Maritime career exhibitions and the like;
• At present the Transport Education and Training Authority

has sponsored projects for TVET colleges, e.g. SSACI-TETA flagship project;

• A combination of lectures and excursions within the port

and terminals are undertaken in collaboration with Transnet Corporate Affairs.
