Comprehensive Sanitation Plan: Scope of Services

Phase 1: Operational Assessment

  • Information Review: Review and compile existing information regarding City collection services.
  • Operational Assessment: Conduct on-site assessment of City collection operations.
  • Community Engagement: Develop a web-based survey to be distributed by City and participate in

public meetings.

  • Define Potential Collection Scenarios: Identify scenarios for improved residential garbage, recycling

and trash collection.

  • Separate Bulk Waste from Vegetation/Landscape Waste.
  • Change Billing Process for Oversize Bulk Trash Piles from Annually (Included in Annual Garbage Bill)

to Immediately Upon Incident, and Increase Fees per Cubic Yard to Cover the Dumping Fees and Costs Incurred by the City.
