ELIAS A ORNITHARIS, BSc Eng. CHAIRMAN & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Elias has over 35 years experience in the Engineering
- Industry. He holds an Engineering Degree from Middlesex
Polytechnic in the UK He worked as a Research and Development Engineer with GEC and EMI companies from 1973 to 1979. In 1979 entered in the Construction Building Services Industry having worked in the UK and in the Middle East. In 1982 he established his own company specialising in the Design and Supply of Electrical and Mechanical Services as well as Material and Equipment for the Building Industry. Elias is a member of The Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK).
IHSAN M MALIK DIRECTOR
Ihsan has over 17 years experience in the oil and gas industry working across UK, Europe, Middle East and China. Specialising in new business development, negotiations of commercial agreements, and project de- velopment in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors, Ihsan worked for Shell, advising on some of the largest energy infrastructure projects ever built (Pearl GTL in Qatar, Qatargas LNG in Qatar, Sakhalin LNG in Russia). Prior to Shell, Ihsan worked in mergers and acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank in London. Ihsan graduated from Oxford University and Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is a qualified accountant and economist.
OMAR AL HOMAID DIRECTOR
Omar has asset management experience for a privately held Middle East property investment company focusing
- n global acquisition and management of commercial
Real Estate. Omar was previously an Analyst with QNB Capital and an Analyst at Avoca Capital. Omar has invested in companies that he founded domestically (in the GCC) related to construction, European food and beverage firms as well as international firms such as Jarre and other high tech hardware and software firms.
ANDREW ORNITHARIS DIRECTOR
Andrew has over 15 years experience in law and project
- management. After working on the refurbishment of the
Sheraton, Marriott and Mövenpick hotels in Doha Andrew went onto working in the Asset Finance department of Clifford Chance LLP in London, New York and San Francisco. Andrew was involved in the financing of a broad range of assets including aircraft, shipping and telecommunications
- n behalf of international hedge funds, banks and
conglomerates amongst others. Since then Andrew has managed several businesses in various sectors both in the UK and Cyprus. Andrew is an alumnus of Oxford University, the University of California, Berkeley and the School of Management of the University of Bath.
