Coastal Marine Management Plan – What is the issue? • coastal areas are key focal points for West Vancouver • coastal areas in the District are changing • insufficient understanding of foreshore ecology • increasing beach erosion • aging infrastructure • diverse expectations of foreshore users • challenges for private waterfront property owners • future impacts of climate-induced sea- level rise COASTAL MARINE MANAGEMENT PLAN WORKING GROUP – INTERIM REPORT
