Basic T and P assumptions

  • Temperature will increase with depth and follow the

boiling point curve of pure water down to the critical point (3400 – 3500 m) BPD-curve down to CPW

  • Pressure will be hydrostatic down to the critical point

(CPW).

  • Below CPW:
