OWLS ACADEMY

  • Two-week program to help students make a successful

transition from middle school to high school.

  • Six hours daily
  • 8:00am - 2:30pm
  • Session 1: Dates TBD
  • Session 2: Dates TBD
  • Transportation is provided

Computer Application can be taken the opposite section of OWLS Academy to earn an additional ½ credit

  • Cumulative GPA 2.5
  • No Out of School Suspension
  • 95% Attendance Rate
  • 50 Hours of Supervised Tutoring on

Windsor Campus

  • Proficient or Advanced on Algebra I EOC
  • r 17 on the ACT math section*

* ACT score is subject to change

  • Class of 2021

– 4 credits of Language Arts – 3 credits of Social Studies – 3 credits of Sciences – 3 credits of Math – 1 credit of Practical Art – 1 credit of Fine Art – 1 credit Physical Education – ½ credit of Health – ½ credit of Personal Finance – Electives – Total=24 credits to earn a WHS diploma *1 credit=1 full year, ½ credit=semester

– Students currently in Algebra I will take a placement test to determine placement into Algebra II or Honors Algebra II

– Study skills – Homework – Attendance – Character Education – Weekly discussions with 101 Teacher about academic

  • progress. 101 Teachers can assign a student to a

mandatory Owl Time academic lab.
