Teacher Recommendations If Required:

• Ask two teachers in person
• Use recommendation form for teachers- available in the

Counseling Center and on the website

• Put teacher recommendation request in Naviance
• Give at least 3 weeks notice
• Check Naviance to see when letters have been completed
• Note - Once uploaded, you will not be able to read teacher

recommendations

• Click on Colleges
• Click on Colleges I’m Applying To
• Click on Add/Cancel Requests
• Select teacher’s name from drop down box
• Click Update Requests
• Check Naviance to see when letters have been completed
• You MUST tell teachers if you need the common application

forms completed

Transcripts

• Complete a transcript request

form for each transcript needed

• Available in both Counseling

Centers and on Counseling Center website

• After all steps are complete,

give to the registrar:

• Mrs. Kosienski (south)

• Submit a mid-year transcript request form for mid-

year grades

• Forms will be available to students in the 2nd

marking period

• In June– students must report to the appropriate

registrar which college they will be attending

Counselor Recommendations

• Use the same procedure for teacher

recommendation via Naviance

• Fill out the counselor form for letter of

recommendation found in the ABOUT ME tab in Naviance

• Indicate on the transcript request form that a letter
• f recommendation is needed

• Leave at least 2 weeks for the letters of

recommendations and transcripts requested to be processed

• November 11th for all December 1st deadlines
• December 1st for all mailings before Winter Break
• ** We CANNOT honor same day requests for

transcripts

• 4 free score reports when registering for SAT’s
• SAT scores are sent as quickly as possible to you, chosen

colleges, and scholarship programs

• Within 9 days of taking the test, you can change or remove a

college from score report

• If you need to order more than four score reports, or send
