Looking to the Future…

  • State-Wide Needs Assessment
  • Developing a Flagger Training course with Field Day component
  • Hiring an Engineer to work on the STACC grant and to develop classes/course materials
  • The STACC (Safety and Technical Assistance for Alabama Cities and Counties) grant provides a mechanism by

which local governments can request technical assistance to address highway safety concerns at specific locations or corridors on locally maintained roadways in their jurisdictions. Such assistance can include, but is not limited to, network screening, diagnosing safety problems, recommending countermeasures, and supporting road safety reviews.

  • New Registration Software
