Line of Sight MIMO – Navigator DT
- 4x4 MIMO configuration quadruples capacity per licensed channel.
- Consists of two Navigator DT radios operating in horizontal and vertical polarizations along with two
antennas to form each radio terminal.
- Single licensed channel.
- Antenna separation a function of frequency and link distance.
- Higher frequencies require smaller antenna separations.

Asymmetrical Radio Link Aggregation*
- Asymmetrical RLA interleaves traffic between Navigator
internal modems and allows each modem to operate at different rates.
- Link Aggregation (LAG) distributes user traffic to each of
Navigator internal modems based on L2/L3 fields.
- A reduced capacity link due to a fade condition will not result in
certain traffic being throttled unfairly.
- Fallback is supported on failure of one of the carriers (e.g.
severe fade condition).
