Correspondence Regarding Water Flow Gap/ Genowlan Creek

  • Correspondence received from CVA on 23/9/16 stating concerns
  • ver alleged loss of flow in Gap/ Genowlan Creek and requesting

and investigation by Airly.

  • GHD conducted a review of Airly operations and measured flows in

Gap Creek

– Mining was being conducted on the west side of Airly Gap at the time – Water flows continued to be closely aligned with major rainfall events – Water flow patterns (increase and decrease in flow) have not changed with mining

  • The report concluded there was no evidence of a change in stream

hydrology in Gap/ Genowlan Creek as a result of mining operations
