May we always surrender ourselves to You as Together We Grow. Holy Spirit, Sanctifier of all creation, You enlighten our minds with Your gifts and Your fruits. May we always be open to Your guidance as Together We Grow. Triune God, You filled our patron, Your priest and martyr, St. Maximilian Kolbe, with great love and devotion to Mary Immaculate. Together We Grow History of the Campaign Two Campaigns in One: One Faith, One Hope, One Love & Together We Grow A campaign initiated by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati that seeks to raise $130 million to support the following: • Catholic school programs and tuition assistance • Local parish priorities • Vocations and formation for lay leaders • Care for retired diocesan priests • Catholic charities and social services 3

  4. Together We Grow History of the Campaign One Faith, One Hope, One Love Every parish in the Archdiocese was called upon to support the campaign. St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish’s share towards this campaign is $1,716,000 4

Together We Grow History of the Campaign Together We Grow In collaboration with this diocesan campaign, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish decided to tackle future needs within our parish. • An internal survey amongst the Pastoral Team, parish commissions and councils was done assessing the perceived needs of the parish. • In January 2016, CCS, a fundraising consulting firm, completed a study seeking parishioners’ input on a proposed expansion and/or renovation of parish facilities. 5

Together We Grow History of the Campaign Together We Grow In collaboration with this diocesan campaign, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish decided to tackle future needs within our parish. • “All interviewed parishioners identified benefits of the proposed plan. Most indicated the elimination of the debt, expansion of the gathering space, addition of a larger multi-purpose meeting room, and expansion and upgrade of the kitchen as the most significant benefits.” ( from the CCS study results ) 6

Together We Grow History of the Campaign THE ORIGINAL PLAN: • Fulfill our parish obligation to the archdiocesan One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign. • Eliminate the parish debt. • Build a community room with a serving area for easier and more frequent fellowship opportunities. • Add a day chapel to be located near the Hospitality Room. • Relocate the main entrance to the north window of the atrium. • Relocate the Rachel Weeping for Her Children statue in a dedicated and prominent location. Any money raised beyond the $3,500,000 goal is to be set aside for potential future expansions of the kitchen and meeting rooms in the Family Life Complex. 7

Together We Grow Campaign WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED SO FAR:  99.4% ($3,479,324) of pledges made to meet the campaign goal of $3,500,000.  As of February 2018, the parish debt of $468,254 was completely paid off.  $1,128,242.12 has been paid towards the $1,716,000 owed to the archdiocesan One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign.  As of October 31, 2018, 52% of pledges have been fulfilled. 11

Together We Grow Campaign WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE: • Archdiocesan policy states that in order for the construction phase of a project to begin, 50% of the estimated budget must be on hand. • Estimated budget for the gathering space and multi-purpose room is $1,284,00 • Amount needed in order to “break ground”: $642,000 12

Grant that we who claim him as patron may be renewed by his witness in our love for the Eucharist, in our desire to strengthen our faith, in our love for each other and in our service to all. We make our prayer to You, Father, through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, in the Holy Spirit, through Christ our Lord. Amen. 16
