  4. CLMP Partners

  5. CLMP Legacy Second oldest program in the U.S.  1974 : Water Clarity (secchi disk)  1993-1998: Nutrients & Algae (phosphorous and Chl A)  2000: Added Dissolved Oxygen/Temperature  2001: Added Aquatic Plant Surveys  2011: Added Exotic Aquatic Plants (invasives)  2016: Added Score the Shore (shoreline development)

  13. Returning Lakes/Volunteers  Returning lakes/volunteers are welcome to sign up for advanced parameters  Automatically given a $185 credit (same as the first time registrants)

  14. Volunteer Requirements  A boat and gas – measurements are taken at the deepest point of a lake and invasive plants are studied throughout  Attend required training on Saturday, May 5th 9AM-12:30PM  One (1) Secchi measurement every week or every other week  1-2 days looking for invasive plants  Drop off frozen water samples on the mornings of June 19th (Spring P) and September 25th (Summer P): Pontiac Location: Warren Location: 1200 N. Telegraph Rd. 27700 Donald Ct.

  15. Secchi Disk  Minimum of eight (8) times from May to September (evenly spread)  Testing every week is recommended for best data
