SLIDE 14

Top Tips

 Establish routines for the entire year  Help your child design a revision timetable  Discourage dependence  Encourage resilience  Encourage self management, organisation and responsibility (regular time for revision – each weekday) (Include time for relaxation and hobbies!) (they should seek out support before asking for help) (Praise effort as well as results) (missed work needs to be caught up! Students should act upon any feedback given, if they miss homework, they need to accept the consequences)
