England ¡(CCL ¡NE). ¡This ¡provides ¡an ¡exciBng ¡opportunity ¡for ¡top ¡ teams ¡to ¡compete ¡at ¡a ¡NaBonal ¡level. ¡

• CCL ¡New ¡England ¡is ¡a ¡conference ¡of ¡the ¡Club ¡Champions ¡League ¡

which ¡has ¡leagues ¡in ¡Virginia, ¡Maryland, ¡Washington ¡and ¡New ¡ England ¡

• NaBonal ¡Pathway ¡through ¡league ¡play ¡for ¡U13 ¡and ¡up. ¡

We ¡will ¡be ¡using ¡the ¡TeamSnap ¡app ¡this ¡season ¡ to ¡organize ¡all ¡of ¡our ¡teams ¡pracBces ¡and ¡

• games. ¡It’s ¡a ¡great ¡way ¡to ¡keep ¡updates ¡on ¡who ¡

• state. ¡ ¡MA ¡youth ¡sports ¡are ¡now ¡classified ¡into ¡three ¡categories ¡based ¡on ¡the ¡risk ¡of ¡transmission ¡
• f ¡COVID ¡during ¡the ¡sport ¡as ¡tradiBonally ¡played: ¡
• ­‑Lower ¡Risk ¡(i.e. ¡golf ¡and ¡tennis) ¡

• Every ¡player ¡will ¡need ¡to ¡bring ¡their ¡own ¡mask ¡(neck ¡gaiters ¡are ¡not ¡

permiNed), ¡ball, ¡water ¡and ¡hand ¡saniBzer ¡to ¡each ¡session ¡

• Players ¡must ¡wear ¡a ¡mask ¡throughout ¡the ¡session ¡
• There ¡will ¡be ¡cones ¡on ¡the ¡floor ¡6p ¡apart ¡from ¡each ¡other ¡on ¡arrival ¡

Spectator ¡Requirements ¡

• The ¡league ¡is ¡ ¡required ¡to ¡stagger ¡games ¡to ¡allow ¡teams ¡and ¡spectators ¡to ¡

exit ¡and ¡enter ¡field ¡space ¡without ¡encountering ¡previous ¡or ¡subsequent ¡

• teams. ¡ParBcipants ¡are ¡required ¡to ¡leave ¡the ¡field ¡(including ¡the ¡parking ¡

areas) ¡immediately ¡aper ¡games. ¡Spectators ¡arriving ¡early ¡should ¡wait ¡in ¡ their ¡car ¡unBl ¡the ¡field ¡is ¡clear. ¡

• MYSA ¡guidelines ¡limit ¡1 ¡spectator ¡per ¡player. ¡If ¡there ¡are ¡too ¡many ¡

spectators ¡at ¡any ¡given ¡Bme, ¡play ¡will ¡be ¡halted ¡unBl ¡the ¡numbers ¡work. ¡

• All ¡spectators ¡must ¡adhere ¡to ¡the ¡current ¡social ¡distancing ¡protocol ¡– ¡6p ¡

apart, ¡face ¡masks ¡to ¡be ¡worn. ¡

• Spectators ¡must ¡park ¡in ¡the ¡designated ¡areas ¡for ¡the ¡field ¡of ¡play. ¡ ¡

Game ¡ModificaBons ¡

In ¡order ¡for ¡WPL ¡Club ¡to ¡play ¡our ¡league ¡season, ¡we ¡are ¡REQUIRED ¡to ¡make ¡the ¡ following ¡temporary ¡changes ¡to ¡the ¡laws ¡of ¡the ¡game. ¡ ¡

• Heading ¡– ¡All ¡intenBonal ¡heading ¡of ¡the ¡soccer ¡ball ¡is ¡suspended ¡for ¡all ¡ages. ¡
• Shoulder ¡to ¡shoulder ¡contact ¡– ¡ ¡suspended ¡or ¡any ¡other ¡intenBonal ¡physical ¡

contact ¡is ¡to ¡be ¡considered ¡a ¡violaBon ¡of ¡Law ¡12 ¡-­‑ ¡playing ¡in ¡a ¡dangerous ¡

• manner. ¡Indirect ¡free ¡kick ¡restart ¡or ¡other ¡applicable ¡foul ¡or ¡misconduct ¡based ¡
• n ¡the ¡referee’s ¡interpretaBon. ¡
• Slide ¡tackling ¡– ¡suspended ¡for ¡all ¡ages. ¡
• Throws ¡in’s ¡– ¡replaced ¡by ¡kick ¡in’s. ¡
• Corner ¡kicks ¡– ¡replaced ¡by ¡a ¡corner ¡kick ¡in. ¡The ¡ball ¡may ¡not ¡be ¡kicked ¡ ¡

directly ¡into ¡the ¡opponent’s ¡penalty ¡box. ¡Opponents ¡must ¡remain ¡10 ¡yards ¡(8 ¡ yards ¡for ¡small ¡sided) ¡from ¡the ¡corner ¡unBl ¡the ¡ball ¡is ¡in ¡play. ¡

• The ¡use ¡of ¡defensive ¡walls ¡is ¡currently ¡suspended. ¡
• The ¡use ¡of ¡a ¡drop ¡ball ¡to ¡restart ¡a ¡game ¡is ¡suspended. ¡An ¡indirect ¡free ¡kick ¡will ¡

be ¡awarded ¡to ¡the ¡team ¡the ¡referee ¡deemed ¡in ¡possession ¡when ¡the ¡game ¡ was ¡stopped. ¡
