Ana María Ybarra ⎮Partner

Ana María Ybarra founded Miranda IR in 2018 after working for ten years in Investor Relations; from 2010 to 2016 she was in charge of the IR department at Genomma Lab International, in collaboration with the Financial Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions areas. Subsequently, she led the Investor Relations department at Grupo Sports World, where she was also head of Strategic Planning and oversaw the creation of new lines of business. Before joining Genomma Lab’s team, she worked as a financial analyst at Protego Asesores (now Evercore Partners) and Umbral Capital. Ana María is an economist who graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas. She also earned an Investor Relations diploma from the Universidad Panamericana and has been ranked on various occasions for Investor Relations by Institutional Investor Magazine in Latin America.

Damian founded Miranda Partners in 2018; he was Mexico Country Manager of UBS from 2001 to 2018, where he

  • versaw the 180-person local Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Equity businesses. Previously he ran

UBS’s Latin American Equity division, worked as Head of UBS LatAm Equity Research, and was “Number One” ranked LatAm “Institutional Investor” equity analyst for Strategy for multiple years. Prior to banking, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economics correspondent), and at the Financial Times (Mexico bureau chief). He holds a CFA, an MPA from Harvard University, and BA from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE).

Marimar Torreblanca ⎮Partner

Marimar Torreblanca joined Miranda-IR in January 2020, when she co-founded Miranda ESG. Before this, she spent 15 years in Equity Research at UBS, and for the last 10 years specialized in real estate equity research. In 2019 she was ranked as the top equity research analyst in Mexico in the Real Estate category by Institutional

  • Investor. She is also known for publishing in-depth reports on corporate governance issues in the FIBRAs
  • sector. Marimar graduated with honors from the Economics program at ITAM and later completed a Masters in

Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research from Columbia University in New York. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certificate from the CFA institute.

Paulina Perez

Paulina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Santa Fe Campus. She was president of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF) at her

  • university. Prior to Miranda Investor Relations, Paulina worked at Deloitte Mexico as an analyst for the Best

Managed Companies program; recruiting Mexican companies to participate in the program and to evaluate and advise on their business practices. Paulina received the Integration Challenge award from the firm Integration Consulting. Emma joins Miranda Investor Relations with three years’ experience in Data Governance and Reporting at Vanguard Europe, where she focused on regulatory reporting for MiFID II and PRIIPs as well as UCITS fund launches and ETF listings on global exchanges, including the BMV and the BIVA. Prior to this Emma served mega-cap investors as part of the private equity team at Third Bridge, London. She also has three years’ experience working with Spanish speaking clients at Connections UK and spent two months volunteering with the Mexican Olympic Committee and the Spanish Paralympic Committee at London 2012. Emma holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Bristol in Hispanic Studies and is part way through her completion of the Investment Management Certificate.

Daniel Duran

Daniel Durán de Huerta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Sheffield, UK. Daniel founded Prestige Group Media, a business focusing on connecting small and medium enterprises to clients all around the world, focusing primarily on social media campaigns to drive sales for different

  • companies. Daniel has also worked in the logistics business, optimizing supply chains and developing new

products for different businesses in Mexico. Daniel lived in the UK for over four years and recently returned to Mexico. Andrés Kuri Breña holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Prior to Miranda IR, Andrés worked at Santander for three years in the Corporate and Investment Banking division, where he participated in multiple capital market transactions, took responsibility for CKDs (listed equity funds), and was later promoted to associate, taking charge of the coordination and composition of the area’s team. Previously, Andrés was an analyst in the Investment Banking division at Banorte Ixe.
