  • Monday: 6 PM swim at IM West outdoor until it closes, then

move to IM Circle at 7:30 PM

  • Tuesday: 6:00 PM run starting from NE corner of dem hall
  • Wednesday: 7:30 PM swim at IM Circle
  • Thursday: 6:00 PM bike starting from NE corner of dem
  • Friday: 5:00 PM run starting from NE corner of dem
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM bike starting from NE corner of dem

Practice Schedule

  • Waiver must be filled out in order to practice with the
  • team. If it is not filled out you will be asked to leave.
  • Bring a helmet for all outdoor rides
  • Bring a flat kit for all outdoor rides
  • Bring a trainer for all indoor rides
  • Dress appropriately for the weather, especially on runs
  • Make sure you have paid your team dues, especially if

Coaching

  • Coach Aaron Bachman will be coaching the team for the

third consecutive year

  • You’re strongly encouraged to email him or call him with

any questions you might have regarding training, nutrition, injuries, etc.

  • He’ll come in four times per semester and write workouts

every week. These will be shared with the team via Google drive.

  • Our awesome coordinators supplement Coach Bachman’s

practices day to day

  • We have a new academic advisor: Joyce Samuel

FAQs

  • Am I required to race?
  • No. Racing is entirely optional.
  • I’m new to sports in general, is this a problem?
  • No. We have people from all background and skill levels.
  • I’m a terrible swimmer/cyclist/runner, does this

affect anything?

  • No. Most people on the team come from a non-triathlon
  • background. We have resources (coaching, coordinators, etc.) to

help you in whatever sport you might be struggling with.

  • I don’t have a bike. Can I borrow one until I decide if

I want to buy one?

  • Yes. We have one team bike available for people to use.

  • Can I use my campus commuter/mountain bike?
  • You might be able to get away with it for short, easy rides.
  • What if I can’t do the practice?
  • Our workout coordinators should be able to either stay with

you or at least make sure you know the route so that you can do your own thing.

  • Are practices mandatory?
  • No, unless you’re going to nationals.
