Keys for Students Transitioning into Grade 8

S

! Self Advocacy & asking for help is critical in high school as students have 8 different teachers ! Students need to learn independence, time management and how to organize and plan ! Important for students to get involved in school - the busiest students tend to be the most successful students ! Students should find their Learning Passion ! Important for parents to stay involved in school; the type of involvement may shift
