ADVOCACY ▪ Host PTA General Membership Meetings ▪ Participate and advocate at Board of Education meetings, community input meetings and HCPS budget discussions ▪ Provide Speaker Series presentations that are relevant to our community ▪ Partner with local, county and state organizations for community outreach events
FUNDRAISING ▪ Primary fundraiser- Paw it Forward. One time donation-only event. ▪ “Paw” it Forward - donate in honor or memory of a loved one; donate for a family in need
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT The PTA supports the FMS community: ▪ ROAR Fair ▪ Family Fun Night/Outings ▪ Spirit Wear ▪ Spirit Dine Nights ▪ Parents Night Out ▪ Community Service Events (coming soon!)
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ▪ Leadership Positions- Executive Board & Committee Chairs For 2018-2019, we are in need of a Treasurer and a Corresponding Secretary ▪ Donate your time and talents with a committee ▪ Volunteer time in school or at home
