Hi everyone! I am Mrs. Becker and I am so excited to be your fifth grade teacher this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing together. This is my 8th year teaching and I have always taught fourth and fifth grade! I love teaching reading and learning about new books.

I attended UW-LaCrosse and Concordia University.

I am a new mom! My daughter’s name is Anna and she is a joy. I also have a dog named Charlie who sometimes visits class. In my spare time, I like taking long walks

with Anna and my husband. I also love

hiking in the woods, especially in the fall. It’s great exercise, and the scenery is beautiful also! When time allows, I practice yoga. See you soon!

My name is Ms. Merkel. I am so excited to be your fifth grade teacher this year, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you! This is my seventh year teaching, and I have taught fourth and sixth grades as well. While the start to this school year will be vastly different than any year before, I know it’s going to be just as great. Let’s have an awesome year! Some of my favorite things to do are to go hiking, camping, spend time up north, and I started biking more this summer as well! In my opinion, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting down with a cup of coffee and a good book. I also have two nieces and one nephew that I love spending time and playing games with. I am looking forward to a great year!

Hi guys! I’m Ms. Radcliffe and I’m excited to be your fifth grade teacher! This is my eighth year teaching and my fourth year at Glen Hills. Fifth grade is the best! My favorite subjects to teach are math and social studies though I also LOVE to read. Because I love coffee so much combining the two makes me very happy! I attended Carroll University for my Education Degree and went to Concordia University Chicago for my graduate degree in Educational Technology which I just finished up last year. In my free time, I have a 3 year old Cavapoo who is amazing and energetic. I enjoy taking him to the dog park and the beach. I also like to play softball and kickball, love the fall and football, enjoy reality tv, and like to just spend time with the people I love! I’m looking forward to an excellent year!

I am Mrs. Turnch and I am so excited to be your teacher this year in fifth grade! This will be my 23rd year in the classroom and I am just as excited to start this year, as I was on my very first day. I have always taught third, fourth and fifth grade! I love teaching reading, math and science! I also love learning about code and robotics! My favorite thing to do is to read a GREAT book!
