SLIDE 10 HOMEWORK AND GRADED ASSIGNMENTS
All homework assignments will be written in the student’s
- agenda. For the most part, Homework is work that students
didn’t finish during the school day. Students are expected to read 20 minutes per night. Graded assignments will be sent home in a Tuesday Packet
- Folder. Included in the folder will be a letter that fills you in
- n upcoming events and what each student will be learning
during the week. Please read the enclosed letter for updates. Sign the envelope and have your child return in the next day.

STUDENT AGENDAS
Students will record all of their homework assignments and school activities in their agenda. Student/Parents should check agendas daily for homework assignments. The agenda should be signed by a parent every night.
SLIDE 12 STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES
Student-Led Conferences are held at the end of the first quarter. During the conferences, parents are given information on their child’s academic and social progress, test scores, report card grades, and a variety of work samples. These conferences are designed to allow the students to evaluate his/her work, set goals, and communicate their progress to their parents. The teacher, student, and parent(s) will be present at the conference.

BOBCAT TOWN
Student earn money based on behavior, attendance, academic excellence, and citizenship. Students pay rent and utilities monthly Bobcat Market three times a year
Auction on the last day of school.

RESPONSIBILITY PLAN
Our responsibility plan this year is reinforced through our Bobcat Town program. Students will be awarded by following the Harelson Code of Conduct/Be Kind Pledge and fined if the rules are not followed. Serious infractions that fall outside of our Bobcat Buck system will be dealt with separately.
