- 1. Access UH Single-Sign On
– Facilities Staff will log into FAMIS through AccessUH
■ Will not need to provide separate support for FAMIS Portal URL ■ Resolve log-in issues
- 2. Visual Map
– Updating our Visual Maps server from a 32-bit system to a 64-bit system
■ Resolve frequent crashes due to number of users
– Phasing out the current Windows XP machines and upgrading the FAMISCAD software to newer computers
■ This will improve the Space Management process of managing information on Visual Maps
- 3. Increased Security
– Implement newly purchased certificate for FAMIS and reconfigure security settings
■ Browsers will no longer require Security Exceptions. ■ Able to upgrade XP machine used for Visual Maps

■ Users will not be able to access: – Visual Maps – WO Reporting – Custom FAMIS applications – Work Order Mobile App ■ Access UH will direct users to Call, Text, or Email FIX-IT – The Call Center has been prepared to track all Service Requests – Service Requests will be logged into FAMIS after the update – No impact on Facilities ability to dispatch and respond
FAMIS will be OFF-LINE Friday, October 21, at 5:30PM through Monday, October 23, at 5:30AM
