Construction works of “Yenikapı” Pretreatment Plant & Pumping Stations in the framework of Istanbul Sewerage Project (1st Stage). Contract consisted of construction of a coarse screen house, a pumping station (influent); pretreatment plant, a pumping station (effluent), incoming inceptor, sewers and force mains; fabrication and laying of overflow systems and connecting pipes; construction of roads and firefighting. Ras Lanuf New Town Contracts 11 and 12 is a housing complex project. Scope: Storm Water Drainage System and Water Supply System, 17 km long pipeline with a diameter of 400 mm was used to bring water from the nearby industrial area of the ARC to the a/m reservoir. The networks consists of a main network around the residential areas and second networks inside the apartment blocks. Sewage Treatment Plant and Irrigation System comprise complete sewage water treatment facilities including restricted effluent reuse for irrigation purpose outside the residential areas. Waste water is collected from the residential areas through gravity sewers to the 4 pumping stations and then pumped to the treatment plant, which is an activated sludge process using mechanical and surface aerators. 2 water reservoirs (200,000 m³). The reservoirs foundation lays on a compacted gravel bed. The reservation is abed and walls are made of watering

  • concrete. The necessary circulation and post treatment
  • f water is arranged with two circulation pumps,

chlorine dosing and residual chlorine metering.

On October 31, 2019, ENKA signed an agreement with ExxonMobil Iraq Limited to construct a Produced WaterTreatment Facility with a capacity of 210,000 barrels of water per day, located within the West Qurna-1 oil field near the city of Basra in Iraq. The project includes the detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of three water treatment trains, one produced water tank, one local equipment room, transfer pumps and all associated systems. The treated produced water will be sent to the Water Injection Storage Tank that feeds the High Pressure Water Injection Pump System for injection wells. The Produced Water 2 Treatment Facility project is scheduled to begin operation in April 2022.

CONTRACTING

Construction of the civil engineering works and supply, delivery and installation of the associated electrical and mechanical equipment of circular earthfill holding reservoir with a capacity of 4,7 million m3. The reservoir comprises an embankment with 9 m. Height and 1 km. of crest diameter, inlet and outlet works and a spillway. The circular earthfill embankment incorporates an internal sand/gravel system drainage system and has internal slopes lined with a synthetic geomembrane of 150,000 m2. Scope: The inlet works,

works and spillway are constructed of reinforced concrete. Water is discharged into the reservoir through 3 submerged discharge valves, each with a diameter of 2,000 mm, and a weight of 30 tons, supplied and installed by ENKA. Manufacturing and installation of polyurethane coated buried steel pipework, with diameters varying between 2,000 and 4,000 mm lined at site by cement mortar and cathodically protected and installation of 8 owner-supplied large valves are

  • included. The project also includes installation of

a prestressed cylindrical concrete by-pass pipeline of 4 m diameter and 1,800 m long.
