UoA Guaranteed PG Scholarship offers will be made soon after you receive an unconditional confirmation of a place, whilst UoA Doctoral Scholarship

  • Qualifying programme GPA of 8.00 (‘A’ grade) or above for

  • Qualifying programme GPA of 7.50 or above for Māori Postgraduate

Scholarships and Pacific Postgraduate Scholarships

  • Research component of at least 30 points for a PG Diploma, or 90

points or more for a Research Masters

  • $27,900 per annum stipend plus cost of your compulsory fees and

international student insurance (if applicable)

  • For up to 3 years (with the possibility of a six-month extension)
  • Students with a GPA of 8.00 or above from a New Zealand university

qualifying programme will be guaranteed this Scholarship (GPA of 7.50

  • r above from their most recent New Zealand university qualifying

programme for Māori or domestic Pacific students)

  • Domestic and I nternational candidates with a GPA (or equivalent) of

7.00 or above from non-New Zealand university qualifying programmes will also be considered on a case by case basis.
