SCSC VIRTUAL OPTION
Virtual education offers SCSC students with an alternative to traditional education during this time of uncertainty. The SCSC virtual option is
- pen to out of district
students in Indiana.
Virtual learning creates an opportunity for SCSC to reimagine how learning can occur in a way that truly connects to digital age
learners.
What is the cost for my child to participate in virtual learning? A: A year license for virtual learning and access to courses is $192.95. This is the cost if you sign up for one semester
- r for the year.
Can my child complete their virtual learning after parents get home from work at 6pm? A: Teacher hours will be during the regular school day. Students will need to connect with their teacher multiple times during the week. There is flexibility with virtual learning but curriculum is set up to mirror the state seat time requirements for each level. Not working on coursework until 6pm each evening would have children working until nearly midnight. Students are encouraged to work on their virtual curriculum on a similar schedule as if they were at school.
If our child is traditional first semester, will we have the
- ption to go virtual for the
second semester? A: Yes. We will send out a registration for second semester in November.
