USDA Technical Assistance and Training Grant • PPRC and WSA applied for this grant in December, 2017 • WSA proposed providing a full 1-day FOG workshop to underserved small rural communities in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, North and South Dakota. WSA also proposed developing a FOG Webinar which will be released mid-summer 2019. • Grant was awarded in August, 2018 • Training under the grant initiated in October, 2018, and must be concluded by September 30, 2019 • PPRC and WSA have applied for another USDA TAT grant, which, if awarded, will begin in October, 2019

USDA-sponsored 1-day FOG Workshop Agenda • Module 1 – FOG Program: legal authority, jurisdictional authority, inventory and survey, FOG stakeholders, communication planning • Module 2 – FOG Triage, Preferred Pumper, best practices, training, public outreach, forms and brochures • Module 3 – Terminology, warning signs, What FOG pretreatment has to handle, and reviewing plans • Module 4 – Field Investigations, Inspections, data acquisition and management
