Project Purpose and Need • Project Purpose ▪ The purpose of the Hoel Avenue/Silverado Drive, STH 138, and Roby Road intersection improvements along US 51 is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system to serve present and long- term travel demand while minimizing disturbance to the environment. • Project Needs ▪ Improve intersection safety (Roby Road has received HSIP funding) ▪ Accommodate projected traffic volumes ▪ Improve bicycle and pedestrian accommodations

  7. Proposed Staging • Projects will be constructed together. • Jackson Street signal between the two project areas will maintain normal operation during construction. • We will review the staging concepts of each construction area.
