If you are seeking Continuing Medical Education Credits:

Course 7329 Rapid Deployment: Oral Heath Through the Lifespan, PA AAP Educational Outreach

  • In order to receive CMEs, you will need to complete a Post‐test and Course Evaluation. Once you have completed these requirements,

UPMC will issue the certificate of completion and award the CME credits.

  • Please follow the 3‐step process outlined below, which require you to access UPMC’s Internet‐based Studies

in Education and Research (ISER) web portal. ➢ Step 1. Please copy the link directly below in order to paste it the ISER portal (you will be directed to do so in step 3).

  • The link you are provided with will guide you to the post‐test after you complete step 2. The post‐test is only accessible via this restricted/direct

link, it will not be posted on the main ISER page due to a lack of content: https://cme.hs.pitt.edu/ISER/servlet/IteachControllerServlet?actiontotake=loadmodule&moduleid=19233 ➢ Step 2. Sign in (or create) an ISER Account through the ISER Portal at https://www.hsconnect.pitt.edu/HSC/home/create‐account.do

  • If you are new to the ISER website, you will need to first create an account. Register your username and password, then you will be redirected to

the ISER main page. To find the specific ISER course to complete the post‐test and evaluation you will need to input the URL to the restricted/direct link provided in Step 1 into your internet browser.

  • If you have used the ISER website in the past, you can just skip to Step 3 to log on and complete the activity.

➢ Step 3. Complete the course post‐test and evaluation

  • Once you have logged into the ISER Portal (step 2), access the CME required post‐test and course evaluation by pasting the link from step 1 into

the address bar of your internet browser. https://cme.hs.pitt.edu/ISER/servlet/IteachControllerServlet?actiontotake=loadmodule&moduleid=19233

  • The first time you log in to the training, a webform will pop‐up titled “Edit SSN Segment.” The information you share on this page is voluntary

and is only required if you are seeking to obtain a credit transcript from the UPMC Center for Continuing Education in the Health website, https://ccehs.upmc.com/home.jsf. If you are not interested, and seek to just obtain the credits and the certificate of completion, then click on the “Don’t Store, and/or Cancel” button at the bottom of the page.

  • Once the required course post‐test and evaluation are complete, UPMC will issue a certificate of completion and award your CME credit for

completing the course.
