Tidal Energy Amrit Rakhra, Jamina Sawal, Diya Sammi, Tyson Van Dyke, Reet Sandhu What are the details of this process? Where is this viable? Already in use? What are the reasons for considering this? - Clean/Green - Renewable - Low cost

Large negative impact on marine ecosystems
food because most of the marine species rely on earth’s magnetic fields
So tidal energy costs above 20 cents USD per KWH (kilowatt-hour). Tidal power is expensive because technology required to convert tidal energy into electricity is very similar to the technology used in traditional hydroelectric power plants. The first requirement is a dam or “barrage” across a tidal bay or estuary. Building dams is an expensive process. Main concern of tidal energy is the potential of generating electricity from marine tidal currents is enormous. Tidal energy is a renewable source that has an additional value in a future energy market with regard to other renewable energy sources.
Useful source as it is renewable of electricity
